helen200x200.jpg Now I’m not one to generally go blowing my own trumpet, but I thought you might like to know a bit about me to judge for yourselves whether I am the sort of person who can help you out with planning your great South African Adventure, because it’s important that you feel you are getting the service you deserve.

I was born and brought up in the southern-most part of England, St Ives, Cornwall. My family ran a first-class hotel overlooking the wonderful golden sands of Porthminster Bay. Long summer holidays spent earning pocket money meant that I learnt from an early age what people are looking for in that all important holiday or vacation.

My love of South Africa was born on my first visit to Cape Town to see my Aunt and cousins. Who cannot be captivated by this spectacular city? Regular visits to the country have only strengthened my love. The diversity, colour, people, weather all combine to create a dazzling country which inspires a devotion.

Magical logo.gif � Magical Cape Town Vacations was my first effort at web development and has a lot of me and my family in it, with much of it still being relevant today.� I have to admit to it being my first love, as far as cities and places in South Africa goes, but she and I go back a long way!

Most importantly a website is only a tool for you to do research with.� The only way to really experience South Africa for yourself is to come and see what a wonderful country this is. I defy you to return unmoved by what you see!
